This silver heat transfer reflective tape is designed for high visibility use by firefighters, oil and gas workers, police, etc.
XM-8011 tape withstands 50 wash cycles at 60°C and is certified to EN 469 and EN 20471.
It is used for FR rainwear (jacket, trousers, etc) or FR jackets, trousers, overalls where stitching is not recommended.
XM-8011 is a high tech material and its adhesive properties vary depending on the type of FR fabric. We advise you to test the adhesion of the tape on a specific FR garment before using it for the first time. It is also a good idea to do a test wash of FR garments with the reflective tape applied.
Please use a heat press or iron to apply the reflective tape to your FR garment. Do not dry clean.
This reflective material is a PU+polyester resin with numerous glass micro-lenses impregnated into the adhesive layer and placed on a film liner. Light is reflected from these micro-lenses and bounces back to a car (or other light sources), making the person wearing the reflective tape more visible in the dark.
