New Oeko-tex 100 Certificate for reflective tapes 2025/2026

Zurich, SWITZERLAND – MARCH 11, 2025 – XM SilverLine proudly announces that its range of reflective tapes has successfully passed certification by Testex AG (Switzerland) in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 ecological criteria.

Global Recognition

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 represents the most widely recognized and sought-after quality benchmark for consumer products worldwide. Established in 1992, this certification ensures that textiles, fabrics, and yarns meet stringent safety requirements for both human health and environmental protection.

Stringent Testing

Products bearing this certification are produced either without hazardous substances such as cadmium, nickel, formaldehyde, azo dyes, and pentachlorophenol, or with minimal, health-safe levels of these substances.

Recent testing conducted under STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, Appendix 4 (product class II), confirmed that XM SilverLine’s reflective materials fully comply with current human-ecological standards for products in direct skin contact.

Certified Product Range

The following products have received certification:

• Reflective tapes made from 100% cotton or 100% aramid fabric with reflective coatings in silver, high-visibility yellow, or both
• Reflective fabrics in silver gray with white base material composed of 100% polyester or polyester/cotton blends (some featuring flame-retardant properties approved by OEKO-TEX®)
• Reflective heat transfer PE films in silver gray (manufactured using materials pre-certified under STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®)

Certification Details

This certification confirms that XM SilverLine’s products adhere to the highest safety standards regarding both human health and environmental impact. The company is now authorized to display the OEKO-TEX® label on its products.

The certification for XM SilverLine’s reflective tapes is valid for a period of one year, with renewal scheduled for April 2026.
