This Flame Resistant reflective piping is made of XM-6011 FR tape. XM-6132 has been developed for FR-clothing where reflective piping used for enhanced design and visibility.

It is important to understand, that due to its narrow width, FR-piping can not be certified to High Visibility standard.
Yet, you can be assured that this piping is Flame Resistant and use the same Reflectivity layer as our certified reflective tape XM-6011.
XM-6132 reflective piping is to be sewn into the seams of FR jackets, trousers or overalls. It increases visibility of the wearer in the day and night.
This Reflective Material is a Cotton Fabric coated with a layer of resin with numerous glass micro-lenses impregnated with a special glue into this layer. The light reflects from these micro-lenses and comes back to a car (or other source of light) making the person wearing reflective tape more visual in the dark.
