New 8000-series of tapes is to be tested & certified in SATRA(UK) lab in the nearest months. Yet, we have already finished our in-house testing and all the tapes performed very well. Initial value of XM-8104/12 Ra=100. After 50 washes at 60oС, the tape has met the requirements of Flammability test (ISO 15025, Edge ignition) and Retro-reflectivity test (Ra=448).
It is planned that XM-8104/12 would pass EN 469 & EN 20471 certification after 50 wash cycles at 60oC.
Reflective tapes of 8000-serie are high-tech material, that is why we urge you before the first use to check the suitability of the tapes on a sample FR-clothing. It is also useful to make trial washes of the fr-clothing with applied tape.
To correctly apply XM-8000 series HT reflective tape to FR-clothing, please read the instructions and follow them step by step. Also, please bear in mind that XMS™ Heat transfer tape is fixed better on woven fabrics, than on knits.
